Thomson v. Doolittle [DISMISSED]Here's our very first small claims case, and our very first tracked case concerning "political spam". Sindeelou Thomson has sued US Representative John Doolittle (R-CA 4) for sending her unwanted email. Since the Office of The General Counsel of the US House of Representatives has been so kind as to petition to remove the case to federal court, we have access to case documents now. That means that this case should be relatively short-lived, but since we think it will pretty firmly be establish that political spam is legal even if it is unsolicited and unwanted and because we think it might be of interest to you, we're tracking it.
